Classic Hot Chocolate (1–2 servings) Ingredients • 2 cups milk (whole milk is creamiest; any milk works) • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder • 2 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste) • 2 oz chocolate (dark or semi-sweet), chopped (optional but makes it richer) • ½ tsp vanilla extract • Pinch of salt Instructions 1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm (don’t boil). 2. Whisk in cocoa powder, sugar, and salt until fully dissolved. 3. Add the chopped chocolate (if using) and whisk until melted and smooth. 4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. 5. Pour into a mug and enjoy!
